Having trouble sending or receiving messages? Follow the simple steps below to troubleshoot your issues. If you continue to have problems, call us at 1-888-425-7425 or email us at techsupport@prospeed.net.

  1. Open Outlook/Outlook Express

  2. Click on Tools

  3. Accounts

  4. Make sure the Mail tab is selected

  5. Highlight account name

  6. Click on properties

  7. Servers Tab

Email Troubleshooting:

Prospeed DSL Clients: Check server settings
Cannot send email: SMTP.PROSPEED.NET
Cannot receive email: POP.PROSPEED.NET

Prospeed Dialup Clients: Check server settings
Cannot send email: SMTP.MEGANET.NET
Cannot receive email: POP.PROSPEED.NET

Web hosting but no internet service from us:
Cannot send email: SERVER OF THEIR PROVIDER
Cannot receive email: POP.PROSPEED.NET

  1. Make appropriate changes to account

  2. Click apply

  3. OK

  4. Exit out of Outlook

  5. Go back in to Outlook and try to send/receive mail
